Dry wipes are unmoistened spunlace sheets that the user wets at home, so they avoid preservatives and most cosmetic rules.

They are made like our disposable face towels but in smaller sheets and packs: cotton dry wipes for sensitive-skin and baby-care brands, viscose dry wipes for everyday face and hand use, and travel packs for bags and gym kits. Typical specs: 20×20 cm, 20×22 cm, or 25×30 cm at 40–60 gsm, 20–100 sheets per pack.

Wet wipes: formulas and plastic-free substrate
A wet wipe is a nonwoven sheet pre-moistened with a cosmetic lotion, so both the fabric and the formula matter.
Substrate. Wipes made from 100% viscose, lyocell or cotton count as plastic-free under the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive and the UK wet-wipes ban, because unmodified natural and regenerated cellulose is not plastic. Viscose/polyester blends contain plastic. We confirm plastic-free claims with a fiber composition test report.
Formula. We can supply a standard water-based lotion or fill your own formula. Your safety assessor reviews the formula, preservatives and microbial results before launch.
Claims we avoid. No “antibacterial”, “kills germs”, “medical grade” or “flushable” claims: germ-killing claims make wipes a drug or pesticide in many markets, and flushability needs a specific standard test.

Quality and testing for wipes
Wet wipes need more testing than dry products because water and preservatives are involved. Brands and their safety assessors usually ask for:
Microbial limits on finished wipes, batch by batch SGS CANWT00472237 & Intertek CNIR2601SZ10615.
Preservative efficacy (challenge) testing of the formula, commonly to ISO 11930.
Seal and lid tests so wipes do not dry out during shelf life.
Fiber composition test of the substrate to support “plastic-free”.

Q1Are wet wipes cosmetics?+
Yes, in most markets. Face, makeup-remover and baby wipes are cosmetics in the US (MoCRA), EU, UK, Canada, Australia, Korea and the Gulf. Wipes with antibacterial claims fall under drug or biocide rules instead.
Q2Can wet wipes be called plastic-free?+
Only if the substrate is 100% viscose, lyocell or cotton with no plastic binder or film, backed by a fiber test report. Viscose/polyester blends are not plastic-free.
Q3Do you make dry wipes for baby-care brands?+
Yes. Cotton dry wipes are popular with baby-care brands because parents wet them with water. We describe them for cleansing only, without medical or sterile claims.
Q4Can you fill our own wet-wipe formula?+
. Send the formula specification and target pack size; we confirm the substrate, liquid load per sheet and documents your safety assessor needs.
Q5Are your wet wipes flushable?+
We do not label wipes flushable. A flushable claim needs testing to a recognised standard, and in the UK and EU “do not flush” guidance is common on wet wipes.
Q6What is the MOQ for private-label wipes?+
1,000 boxes / 3,000 packs. Wet wipes need a minimum per formula and pack size; dry wipes follow our standard private-label MOQ.
