Only a fiber composition test report proves a towel is 100% cotton; a product name does not.

In China, the trade name for these towels, Mianroujin (“cotton-soft facial towel”), describes the feel, not the fiber, so many towels sold as “cotton” are viscose. Our range includes both, and every quote names the exact fiber.
For each cotton product we provide:
A fiber composition report from an accredited lab, using AATCC TM20A or the ISO 1833 series, showing “100% cotton” for your SKU and GSM SGS Report CANWT00472237 & Intertek CNIR2601SZ10615 (2026).
A spec sheet with fiber, GSM, size, sheet count and texture that matches the report.
Lot records and retained samples, so a later shipment can be checked against the approved sample. See Quality Control.

Choose 100% cotton when you need a “100% cotton” claim, a towel that holds together when wrung out wet, or the lowest lint for makeup removal.

Choose viscose when softness and price per sheet matter most. Cotton is slightly stronger wet than dry, while regular viscose keeps only about half to two-thirds of its dry strength when wet.

Premium Amazon listings. In October 2026, 100% cotton face towels on Amazon US sold for about $0.08 per towel in 100-count packs and up to about $0.30 per towel in 50-count boxes, against about $0.16–0.20 for mainstream XL towels (Amazon.com search results, 16 October 2026; prices change daily).

Under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, goods made wholly or partly in Xinjiang are presumed barred from import, and the importer must prove otherwise with clear and convincing evidence. Cotton is a priority enforcement sector, so collect the documents before the goods ship.

Q1Are all ZEFU face towels 100% cotton?+
No. Only the lines in the spec table above are 100% cotton. Our other face towels are 100% viscose, viscose made from bamboo or lyocell, which cost less or feel silkier. Every quote and spec sheet states the exact fiber, and each cotton product is backed by a fiber composition report SGS Report CANWT00472237.
Q2How can I check that a face towel is 100% cotton?+
Ask for a fiber composition report from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab, tested to AATCC TM20A or ISO 1833, that matches your SKU and GSM. A burn test cannot tell cotton from viscose, because both are cellulose. For your own check, send a retail sample from each shipment to the same lab.
Q3Do you make organic cotton face towels?+
Only if the cotton is certified. An “organic” claim needs GOTS or OCS certification with a transaction certificate for each shipment, and we do not use the word without them. Certified organic cotton supply: Available (FSC-certified paperboard & OEKO-TEX® certified substrates). Without certification, print “100% cotton”.
Q4Where does your cotton come from?+
Cotton origin: Non-restricted certified international cotton & Lenzing/Birla-grade viscose suppliers. For US orders we provide the supplier declaration, purchase records and production records that link the cotton to your towels Certificate of Origin, Fiber Mill COA, Purchase Invoices & Batch Production Records, so your customs broker can prepare a UFLPA file before shipment.
Q5How much more does a cotton face towel cost than viscose?+
Cotton fabric costs more per kilogram than viscose, so a cotton towel of the same size and GSM is priced higher: 18%–28%. On Amazon US in October 2026, 100% cotton towels sold for about $0.08–0.30 per towel, depending on pack size and brand.
Q6Can you make XL 10"×12" cotton towels?+
Yes. We make 25×30 cm (10"×12") cotton towels in N-fold travel packs, and can pack the same sheet in a pull-out box. If you need a thick XL towel in cotton, ask us to quote 80 gsm cotton alongside 80–90 gsm viscose. See XL thick face towels.
Q7Can cotton face towels be called biodegradable?+
Not without qualification. US, EU and UK rules restrict unqualified “biodegradable” and “eco-friendly” claims, and most used towels end up in landfill. Print what you can prove, such as “100% cotton”. Our guide to biodegradable face towel claims lists the rules by market.
